Compton, Big Booties, the Watts Towers AND HOTTEST girl EVER!
After a few days off from shooting on Wednesday we jumped back into a whole mess of something. A big butt of all big butts. It was sooo big it had a tattoo on it that said D' ASS. The girl After the shoot I went home to chill and edit. A friend came by and we spent a few hours on a tour of my place. She was the first person to be scared by the big ass Klown in my prop room. What's cool is she was impressed by a few things in my room especially all the Indy movie stuff from past projects. My friend loves "Rue Morgue" Magazine and I quickly showed her the issue with a review of one of my older movies. It was cool because I forgot how positive the review was and how they praised my cinematography. Sweet bonus points for this Russky. I haven't cracked open those books and magazines in ages, so it was nice to get back into the swing of things when it comes to Indy stuff. On Thursday Mark and I headed for Compton and Skid Row to gather inserts for "Big Baller's Nation". I drove, he shot. And we looked like a beginning to a drive by, slowly cruising the streets with a big shiny thing sticking out the window. What set you from sucka? Um, Extreme? We arrived in Compton around 10:30am, it was hot, humid, and raw. We drove towards the Watts Towers shooting everything in sight ... broken down homes, people, cars, graffiti, and the local "youth organization" members. THEN IT HAPPENED ... We were stuck as the train blocked or path, both sides of the truck book-ended by graffiti and young men looking for a new camera. We stayed calm as Mark's mohawk scared them away. VIDEO HERE
Afterwards we went looking for weird things, finding a truck selling loads of watermelons ... hhhhmmm. The lady yelled at us, "NO COPY!" as we shot her wagon. Later we followed a biker dragging his home and possessions in a cart behind his bike. At the red light as I was shooting Mark shooting the biker, a guy yells out "What you shoot fo!?" I quickly replied, "What set you from? biyatch!" But what actually came out of my mouth was "my friend sir!" Then he says, "shoot this!" and lifts his shirt to reveal ... his big belly then he shows us his big ass! Priceless. We also found a burned down house with a weird cucarachas sign on the fence. I think all the cucarachas burned away with the house. At Skidrow we managed to shoot a lot of homeless people and their make-shift homes. At one point one of them yelled out, "put that camera down before I knock it off!" Yup and good day was had by all. We went back to LA as I edited and Mark went to shoot. A few fun days with more to come, on Friday we shoot Olivia O'Lovely and on the weekend I got the last day on the Indy movie. FRIDAY: Shot Olivia O'Lovely who looked amazing. Her body was tight yet her butt still was as I went to the office for a while after the shoot. Ran into Coffee Ron and the rest of the gang. They were preparing to shoot another Slap Happy scene with a brand new girl. Came into town last night from Kentucky. She was a bit weird, throwing attitude around. Not wanting to show her boobs for picture, at one point saying "do you really need to see my pussy for the pictures?" I quickly took off not needing the headache that was coming. Maybe she insipred Ron to do a really intense scene. We did some editing of the BTS for the Indy movie then on the way to dinner we spotted that disturbing person from the bus stop except he was wearing a towel and nothing else. :o |
