| LAS
VEGAS!
Well, well,
well, no responsibilities, no schedules, nothing to do but mess around
and then mess around some more. We spent three days and nights at the
Sahara. Literally at the Sahara, ONLY. The only time we left the room
was to fill our bellies and gamble. Kami got the erge to play Keno, since
neither of us ever played it we
got a crash course form the "Keno" girl. It's pretty simple,
you pay, you get the numbers and like the lottery you sit and wait. We
got hooked on it. The buffet and cafe, shit even the rooms are all equipped
to inform you about the latest Keno game. The last two days, every meal
we had involved dozens of Keno sheets and a crayon. Like old people at
bingo, you sit there and watch the screen and mark off your numbers with
that crayon. There is even a runner at the Cafe who will deliver money
or more cards to you. It's cheap to play and easy to follow. Two combinations
we loved. Loved those two so much, we incorporated it into our other vice
... the Slots!
At one point
we were up 30 straight hours playing the slots and/or watching movies
or fooling around ;). By the end of the 30 hours, Kami was drunk and I
was falling asleep at the machines. At one point I begged Kami to go back
to
the room. We did and then we were back for more. The old slot junkies
hated Kami, every time she won she would yell it out loud. "I won
a million dollars, I win, I win!" It wasn't actually a million dollars
more like 40 or 80 quarters but still the excitement was just the same.
Watching Kami jumping up and down, boobies going up and down, her cute
voice yelling all kinds of weird stuff ... made me want to spend the entire
trip at the slots. Not to mention she got frisky every time she won, no
matter if it was 2 quarters, 2 nickels, or just an extra spin.
Kami was
hooked on this silly Unicorn game that never paid up. After a few days
and a few dollars we learned that nickel slots are the way to go. We weren't
there to get rich, just to have fun and make our money last.
We
also found an arcade deep behind the Nascar Cafe. Kami played her dreamy
Area 51 game while I dominated in the Hoops game. At the end we had enough
tickets to get some memorable prizes. We got matching large dice (that
I still rub when thinking of my baby), an alien key chain, and two parachutist
toys that we later threw out our window. (see below)
The few days
we spent together in that room and the casino were awesome. We bonded
even more and enjoyed each other's company. We got to watch the Monday
Night game and lose money on it. We put money on our teams to get to the
Super Bowl. And we did a lot of touching around the swimsuit area.
I remember
sitting away from Kami during one of our slot binges, and every time she
won she would yell out. With every spin everyone would here, "I won
5 ... I won 10 ... I lost ... I love you ... I won" and so on. For
us it was funny for the serious gamblers, well who cares about them. We
had fun and that's all that matters.
Our room
was pretty divided. We had two beds and upon our arrival Kami labeled
both of them. "This is the hump bed and this is the sleeping one."
That theory only worked for a little while. But the room did have it's
story, one side had beer cans and bottles while the other was covered
in Diet Pepsis. Guess whose was what. At one point I ordered an $8 grilled
cheese sandwich from the all night Cafe. What I got was some chips, a
tiny sandwich and a perfectly placed toothpick, grilled in the middle
of the cheese. Pretty scary and nasty.
I did finish the sandwich though.
The gambling
we did, did come with a price. Besides spending a huge amount of quarters,
Kami got hooked. Hooked on the sound of quarters hitting the metal plate
as the machine paid out winnings. Ching, ching, chang, she loves that
sound and we cashed out, our of machines just so we could, well just so
SHE could hear that sound. Here is a clip of a pretty big win by Kami
... a huge 160 quarter ass kicking she gave to that machine. Click
on the image to see and hear the coins and mostly Kami's exciting
reaction to this huge win.
At the end
of our trip I bought Kami a video slot game and poker game so her fun
could continue back home in Pittsburgh.
